Answering Strategies Workshop & High-Yielding Practice session

About the Class

  1. Ms Wong will go through the content in detail with her students using Ms Wong's  Summary Notes. The notes are basically content summaries of the school's lecture notes that students need to focus on for their A level exams. Students are typically given very thick lecture notes by their school to study. Ms Wong summarizes these lengthy notes into concise exam-oriented pointers for students to memorize effectively. They also form the backbone of common exam style answers. Please note that the notes are NOT FOR SALE. They are only exclusive to Ms Wong's students. Notes will be released every lesson based on the lesson plan.
  2. Practice high yielding tutorial questions from top schools. Doing challenging questions is essential to get students exposed to a variety of questions to prepare them for application based questions they faced during their school's exams and A level exams.
  3. Going through the answers and picking up common patterns of answering; learning from common mistakes that students typically will make.
  4. Free Flow Drinks & Light refreshments will be provided to keep students alert during class.

Materials Provided

  • Ms Wong’s Summary Notes & Concept Maps
  • Model Essays
  • 'A' level Biology syllabus
  • Top school prelim papers
Note: Ms Wong's notes and materials are NOT for sale. They will be provided exclusively for students attending Ms Wong's class.

Missed lessons, termination, payment queries & other FAQs

Please refer to Ms Wong's Class Policy (click here) for queries on missed lessons, termination, payment details etc.

Ms Wong would like to reiterate that per her class policy, if parents/students forget to bring their tuition fees by the stipulated deadline, students will not be allowed entry into the class. (Ms Wong is very strict with this policy as she had very bad experiences with parents who defaulted payment & parents who require several reminders before they can make payment). Students denied entry into the class who make payment subsequently will be given notes for the lesson missed but would not receive any make-up class.  Ms Wong is a committed tutor to her students in helping them to excel in their Biology and she hopes that parents can be responsible, considerate and committed to make tuition payment on time.

Students are advised to join Ms Wong's regular class early so that they can obtain the full set of notes (which Ms Wong will issue every lesson) and pick up the answering skills early from Ms Wong. Studying the full set of notes and practicing the strategies that Ms Wong has taught will take time. So it is most recommended to join Ms Wong's class as early as possible. Please do not wait till the last minute to join Ms Wong's tuition as students who had signed up for Ms Wong's class early would have advanced very far into their honing their skills and solidify their preparation for the A-Level exams using Ms Wong's answering techniques.

Students who join late/half way through the year, will only reap half the benefits as the notes will not be in full set. Many students who have joined Ms Wong's class halfway through the year realized the value of Ms Wong's notes and have asked for full set of notes from Ms Wong. However, kindly note that Ms Wong will not issue notes for lessons not attended and paid.
