About the Sec 3-4 Biology lessons:
Ms Wong will go through each topic in detailed using her Essential Concept Notes. The notes (20 chapters thick) will highlight things that students need to know that are not found in the textbook as well as essential keywords that students to include in their answers which are marking points in the exams. It is definitely a MUST-STUDY set of notes for students before the O level exams. About the Mastery Signature Workshops: These are mastery workshops where Ms Wong will go through in detail the skills necessary for each domain area tested in the Biology exams. WS (1) Answering Strategy Workshop: This workshop will complement her book 'Mastering Structured Questions' where Ms Wong will show students in her video how to give good detailed answers with keywords for students to score in their Paper 2. WS (2) Essay Writing Workshop: This workshop will complement her book '101 O-Level Challenging Biology Essays' where Ms Wong will show students in her video how to write good Biology essays for students to score in their Paper 2. WS (3) Graphs & Good Answer Workshop: Ms Wong will go through model students' answers for various challenging questions to show students how to write good detailed answers for their Paper 2. Ms Wong will also go through all the graphs that will be tested in the O Level Biology exams. She will also teach students how to plot various kinds of graphs relevant for the exams. WS (4) Diagram Labelling Workshop – Sec 3: Ms Wong will go through all the must-study Sec 3 diagrams and how to label/draw them. WS (5) Diagram Labelling Workshop – Sec 4: Ms Wong will go through all the must-study Sec 4 diagrams and how to label/draw them. WS (6) Cell Division Workshop: Cell Division is a difficult topic for most students. Ms Wong will go through in detail the entire process of mitosis and meiosis. She will also go through the graphs as well as teach students the mathematics of cell division (how to calculate chromosomes, DNA content etc) that are not covered in the textbook but are frequently tested in the exams especially school prelims. WS (7) Genetic Diagram Workshop: Ms Wong will go through in detail how to draw a full genetic diagram as well as going through 6 types of genetic diagram questions that are tested in the O levels. WS (8) Misconception Workshop & Final Booster Workshop: In this workshop, Ms Wong will go through misconceptions regarding certain facts for each topic so as to enhance students' understanding. In the Final Booster workshop, Ms Wong will go through all the study/exam tips & must-knows for each chapter. |

(2) Sec 3 Online Recorded lessons - $400 (Include 8 video links & 8 Essential Concept notes) (3) Mastery Signature Workshops - $400 (include 8 video links & 8 Signature Workshop notes) (4) Ala carte - Pick and choose any lessons you want to view at $50/lesson (include 1.5-2hr video & notes) These lessons are personally delivered by myself to my ex-students (class of 2019). As these are online content that were recorded, the fees are priced at $25/hour which is about the price that parents usually will pay for a tuition class. The difference between my online classes and other tuition programmes is that I only teach high yielding content that is frequently tested by the school and O level exams. I'll explain concepts that are of relevance to our human body and medicine to make lessons interesting and useful. Enjoy! |
